My previous sword was a one-handed one that looked more or less like this. I'd like the same general shape, at least, but I haven't put much thought into the details beyond that... To be honest, the previous one came into my possession pretty unexpectedly in the first place and I don't know much about this sort of thing anyway, so I don't really know what's feasible.

Pommel's a good place for a lil' style. Doesn't risk gettin' in the way like a detailed guard might. So then it comes down t'what you like--the kind've design that'll make you feel like th' sword's reflectin' its owner.
Hm...that's the thing what folks do to proper decorate with detail a chisel ain't able t' engrave, ain't it? Never tried, but if it's somethin' can be done to a blade, bet I can do it with a bit 'f practice.

He flips to the back of the page of his sketch and starts a new sketch, this time of a strawberry plant, with both flowers and berries. The design only takes up a quarter of the blade.] A design like this maybe...?
[She hummed thoughtfully, carefully tracing a clawed finger along the design.]
Can prob'ly even make the design a touch bigger'n this if you like. Be a bit harder to clean, but it shouldn' put the blade's integrity at risk or nothin.
That ought to be easy 'nough, aye. Made plenty of ornate blades that're well functional enough. Might take a try or two t' get, but you can bet it'll get done right.
Don't get me wrong, I don't often work for free. But if it's somethin' you need to' protect yourself an' other folks, we can work out a price you're able t' pay for it.
I've been paid pretty well for my work for the Order, so I don't mind paying.

I ain't that expensive, you ain't gotta worry. 'Specially where you've got proper need of it and it ain't gonna gather dust on some rich bastard's wall. Them I'd overcharge where I can get away with it, but you can cut that number down a bit and we ain't gonna have a problem.
